Puck Protection & Battle Camp

• All Day, July 14th, 2020
• Instruction will focus on improving a player's mechanics in the skill of shooting, and creating more scoring opportunities with proper puck protection and puck battle techniques. Both skills are very important in a player's overall success on the ice. Camp Instruction Curriculum Puck Protection: puck strength, proper body positioning Angling: taking away time and space, proper stick positioning Corner and Net Front Battles: angling, proper positioning, 1 vs. 1 situations Small Area Competitions: 1 vs 1 , 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3 Body Contact : age specific, separating the player from the puck ** 26 Skater Limit Per Group Schedule 8:45 AM—9:45 AM Dryland (CDA Academy Training Facility) 10:30 AM—12:00 PM Ice Time
