The Coeur d'Alene Hockey Academy concluded their 14U Weekend Team Tryouts this Sunday.

34 players entered the weekend with the hopes of continuing their hockey endeavors with CDA. 14U Head Coach, Norm Lochtin, was extremely pleased with the turnout and the level of play throughout the weekend. "I was really impressed by the skill level of the players that attended this camp. Every player gave it their all with the hopes of securing a spot on this fall's roster."

Lochtin was equally optimistic about the squad he will ice for his team's campaign this year. "We have a lot of skilled returners from last year's squad, and the top prospects that we signed are going to make us a force at the 14AA level. I am already excited for the season."

CDA U14 & 16U Weekend Model Team plays under the Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy Banner. The teams play an independent schedule comprised of tournaments and exhibitions against both US and Canadian teams. They do not participate in the CSSHL. 

Weekend Model Team players will participate in on ice practices  at the Frontier Ice Arena. They also have weekend access to CDA's state-of-the-art Fieldhouse, which offers strength and conditioning training, shooting and stickvhandling skill work, video analysis, and other high intensity training including instruction on the skating treadmill.
