The Coeur d'Alene Prep Academy just completed it's Phase II tryouts this past Sunday with several players inking their name to commitment forms for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

The camp started on Friday, June 10th and completed with a spirited final scrimmage on Sunday, June 12th.

According to various members of the CDA Coaching Staff, several players earned roster spots on all 3 prep teams this past weekend, which puts the program poised for a successful summer as they head back into the CSSHL for the winter hockey season.

CDA 17U Prep Head Coach, Mike Butters, was enthusiastic with both the turnout and the quality of competition. "This past weekend's camp was a great complement to our Phase I camp as we saw several new players, along with players who needed a second look. Based on what commitments we have as far, Jeremy (Mylymok), Ken (Hoey), Freddie (Beaubien) and myself are pretty fired up about what we have so far." Butters added, "With the Global Showcase coming up next week, along with the players still in the recruitment process, we all feel we a solid group of quality players ready to wear the red, white and blue this year."

Next up for CDA is their attendance at the Global  Showcase in Las Vegas, NV June 20-24.
