October's Students of the Month were announced Monday with 3 exceptional young men being named. Teacher, Ken Johnson had this to say about this month's CDA selections:
U18 - Ben Delisi - "Ben is a worker. He keeps plugging till things are done right. Academically and in hockey, he confronts the challenges in front of him with class and determination."
U17 - Verners Veinbergs - "Verners is an incredibly strong student. He keeps working till his efforts manifest in excellence. His first language is Latvian, but his English writing skills, especially in writing, are as strong as native speakers. In Math, he has never had a late or lacking assignment – all his work is on time and done well."
16U Hansel Chicoose - Hansel is a sharp and perceptive thinker who intensifies his intelligence with a strong work ethic. He combines both strong deductive reasoning and intuition in Math, and in English, he is a wonderfully creative writer."
Each month, the academic faculty of CDA selects a student-athlete from each team for the merits they've achieved in the classroom.
Congratulations to Ben, Verners and Hansel.
