Coeur d'Alene Hockey Academy Education Program

Coeur d'Alene Hockey Academy Education Program

CDA Hockey Academy has created a solid educational base and an academic curriculum that allows student athletes to integrate hockey with school.

Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy has continued to work, grow and develop the educational opportunities for our student athletes. Meeting their unique academic needs continues to be a high priority and has led the Academy’s leadership to invest in the pursuit of establishing a fully accredited academic program. In the spring of 2021, the Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy celebrated the achievement of becoming an accredited school through Cognia,a nationwide and internationally recognized standard in school accreditation.

This advancement provides our student-athletes access to face to face instruction in core subjects in addition to online opportunities with the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA). The Academy follows the State of Idaho high school graduation requirements but also remains flexible in working with requirements from other states and countries. As a member of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL), we continue to strive to accomplish the league’s mission “To be National Leaders in Education-Based Hockey.” Contact our Education Coordinator today to learn more about the academic opportunities through the Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy

All of our student athletes are required to maintain a baseline grade point average to  eligible to participate in CDA athletic activities, including practices and games.

We make academics and time management a high priority.  It is CDA Academy's goal to prepare our student athletes for life experiences beyond hockey.
