Food in my room at 5. PLEASE don't sit around all day. Make sure to take at least 1 cold tub, then have a team stretch at 4 run by you girls! Also, make sure you drink a lot of water, let me know if anyone needs water!
We placed 7th...We play Edmonton Pandas at 8pm at George Preston. We will have some food before hand.
Effort is one of those traits we call “Athlete Owned Behaviors”. It is completely in everyone’s control. An athlete who is not giving their best effort, needs to be asked, “why”. Is there something going on that I need to be aware of as your coach?
Otherwise, less than your best effort is not acceptable for anyone in the competitive arena
breakfast at 6am in my room bus leaves at 630
5:15pm the bus is going to leave for the Calgary vs. Okanagan game for 1 period. We will then shoot back for a 715pm supper. Wear your CDA sweats and jackets. No sandals. Look decent. Also, I went through the receipt from BP and one person did not listen to my instructions. If it happens again I will have to pre order everything and everyone will just have to get the same thing. Following directions is a very important thing, if you don't it only hurts the whole team...pretty disappointing, especially after our talk in the locker room after the game! Overall, pretty good game, let's clean up some of unforced errors and we will be better tomorrow!!
Tough 4-1 loss. Hands down the best team we have played all season! It was super good game for these girls development!
