The Coeur d'Alene Hockey Academy have announced that Freddie Beaubien will be the 16U Prep Head Coach for the remainder of the season, announced CDA owner, Shawn Luteyn, effective immediately.
Beaubien replaces Ken Hoey, who was relieved of his duties late Thursday afternoon.
"We wish to thank Ken for his contributions to the Academy and wish him well with his future endeavors," said Luteyn.
Beaubien has been with CDA since 2017 serving in many capacities, including 4 Head Coaching assignments.
"Freddie Beaubien is long standing hockey man, with a rich coaching tradition at all levels," said CDA Director of Hockey, Jeremy Mylymok. "His stability with CDA is a valuable asset and our 16U Program will benefit greatly from his increased presence."
The 16U are in action on October 21st vs. Portland Jr. Winterhawks.
